3rd Sunday of every month.

 

Presentation -1:

An overview of Dharampalji 's seminal contributions to the understanding of our people and our society prior to colonisation, and the lessons thereof, told largely in his own words.

This presentation will be centred around a series of three talks Dharampalji gave on “Some aspects of early Indian Society and Polity and their Relevance to the present” during  Jan 4–6, 1986 at the  Indian Association for Cultural Freedom, Pune. These talks were later published in New Quest [Nos. 56, 57 and 58] and also translated into Hindi and published in Jansatta in 12 parts during March-April 1986. They were also translated from English into Tamil a year later and published in book form. Soon thereafter, the pieces published by Jansatta were brought together in book form under the title, “Angrejon se Pahle ka Bharat” by Satabdi Prakasan, Vidisha, 1988. These lectures were also published in Marathi as “Paramparik Bharatiya Samajik Va Rajkiya Vyavastha Ani Nava Bharatachi Ubharani” as well as in Malayalam in somewhat briefer versions.

"Management of Covid-19 patients with Ayurveda".

Discussion: 4.15 to 5.00 PM

 

Dr. P L T Girija, Founder, Sanjeevani Ayurveda and Yoga Hospital, Chennai , as well as a Founding Member of the PPST, shares her experience of managing a large number of Covid-19 patients using the Ayurveda System of Medicine starting from June 2020. With over 350 well  documented cases of Covid patients that she has successfully dealt with, her presentation focuses on the scientific and clinical aspects of how the Ayurvedic System views and deals with a disease condition like Covid-19. 

 

With over 30 years of experience as an Ayurvedic Physician, Dr. Girija will be open to answer any queries concerning the foundations and methodology of  Ayurveda in the treatment of ill health and diseases.
